Whilst the initial Jungle 'Throwback' and Footwork crossover really gets one hyped by playing on the nostalgia of the Rave-era (whether you were there or just relived it through the music), it feels as if the charm wears off quickly through listening fatigue. By no means a bad release, but moderation is key. 'Alive' is definitely the stand-out track. The interplay of half-time / double-time grooves, moody bassline and Dub Techno chords works extremely well.

Probably my least favorite Fixate release to date. Still pretty neat, and produced to Fixate's typically immaculate standard, but didn't quite land with me.
